Day 7
Travel the Bernina Express from Chur to Poschiavo
After breakfast, take the regional train and travel between Chur to St.Moritz. Enjoy the stunning view of the narrow valleys and the curved Landwasser viaduct. Head on to the Bernina express from St. Moritz. Before going to the highest peaks of the Canton of Graubunden and the Morteratsch Glacier ‐ where the ascent up the Bernina Pass begins, explore Pontresina in the Upper Engadine Valley. Covered in snow, you will get to see Lago Bianco. Soon after reach the highest point of 2253m at Ospizio Bernina before the dramatic decent down via Alp Grum which offers magnificent views of the Palu Glacier. Finishing in the Italian speaking Swiss town of Poschiavo. Return to Chur via St. Moritz by regional train. If time permits stop over to explore the glamorous winter resort before returning to Chur.
