Day 1
Visit Garni- Azat gorge - Symphony of Stones - Havuts tar – Geghard – Yerevan
After you arrive at the airport at 11:10 am, you will be taken to the hotel. You will check in and rest for a while. You will be driven to the pagan temple in Armenia, devoted to the God of Sun- Myrth in 77 AD by King Trdat. Trekking from the temple to the Azat gorges, a magnificent and extraordinary scene that creates the image of falling cliffs. It was given the name "Symphony of Stones" for its view. The Armenia tour package will take you on a journey to explore the amazing landscape of the canyon that stimulate the human imagination. Next, you will be taken on an excursion to Havuts Tar Monastery that dates back to the 1213th century, located in the Khosrov Reserve on the left bank of the Azat River. The 3 days Armenia tour package includes a family lunch in a village house with an overview of the process of making “Lavash” (traditional Armenian bread baked in a stone oven), testing authentic Armenian cuisine, experiencing local village life. After the trip, you will be taken to explore the exceptional cave temple of San Geghard (XII XIII century), whose name means "holy spear" in honor of the long-preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of the crucified Christ. Day 2
Explore The Ararat Valley, Khor Virap, Amaghu, Noravank And Areni Wine Tasting
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to the Ararat valley to explore Khor Virap Church. It is said to be the place where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for 13 years without any food, accused by the Armenian King of preaching Christianity. It is one of the holy places for the Christian world. It is also the best point to enjoy the most spectacular view of the gorgeous biblical mountain Ararat shining with its two white peaks. The 3 days Armenia tour package includes going on the road to Vayots Dzor region, known for its 6,100-year-old 5 winery and wine cellar in Areni.
